I lead efforts to connect Pew’s environmental research investments with informed policy and practice.
This has included designing strategies to include decision-makers and practitioners directly in the development of research agendas, identifying when and how to deploy expert intermediaries, and creating training approaches to build researcher capacity to effectively engage with decision-makers and others. I also oversee efforts to measure the use of Pew’s environmental research investments in policy and practice. I regularly convene scholars, funders, and practitioners across diverse sectors on these topics to develop innovative strategies for future research and investment.
