Profile
I lead the Early Intervention Foundation, an independent charity and member of the UK government’s network of ‘what works’ centres. for the last 20 years, I have been interested in how to get evidence used. Most recently, through my work at Nesta, the Institute for Government and EIF, I have actively explored what works best in getting evidence used to change policy and practice.
How evidence is used
I am interested in bringing together the academic evidence on how evidence is used with the practical experience of organisations trying to get evidence used.
Measuring impact of evidence organisations
I am interested in using approaches from behavioural science to measure the impact of generating evidence on changing policy and practice.
