Mark Finn

PhD researcher in Applied Public Policy at the School for Government, King’s College London

Profile

I am currently working with Transforming Evidence on development of the Use of Research Evidence Methods Repository, where URE researchers can publish research approaches so that others can learn from and build on them.

My research examines the determinants of decision-making by policy makers facing challenges or crisis, specifically examined through a comparative study of healthcare and housing policy-making in England and Ireland.

I am a lecturer and programme director in Irish politics, public sector economics and statistics for the Institute of Public Administration, an Irish public service development agency.

I have a MEconSc and Postgraduate Diploma in Policy Analysis (IPA) and a BA (Hons.) in Economics and Political Science (Trinity College Dublin).
