The UK's National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is looking to establish a new Council of 5–10 Non‑Executive Members. This is an honorary role with a payment of £2700 p.a. providing advisory support and help shaping NIHR's strategic direction, improving the health and wealth of the nation through research.
NIHR are seeking senior strategic leaders with broad experience and networks in the UK and international health and care science, research, and/or innovation ecosystem. Applicants should be skilled in working across organisations, shaping, implementing, or responding to policy, and will be encouraged to draw on their lived experience as a patient, carer, or service user to inform their contributions.
