In the UK, Areas of Research Interest (ARIs) are produced by a range of public sector organisations. Government departments are obliged to produce ARIs on a regular basis, and other public sector organisations do so on a voluntary basis.
This document sets out the seven stages in the ARI process which are common to all public sector organisations.
